about

The album ANTHROPOCENE PANIC was commissioned and released on the label sound-space London on Dec 4th 2020. Sadly sound-space can no longer continue trading, at least for the time being, and have kindly returned the tracks they released back to the artists.

Thanks for the support!

"A work of sonic science fiction beyond Mad Max."

Anticipating the extinction of humankind, "Anthropocene Panic" takes a look at how the human species will face their irrevocable end. Simon Grab's disturbing and intense electronica tracks, bass-heavy, polyrhythmic, and inflected with dub and noise, are produced on an analogue no-input feedback system. The album examines the moment of collapse when environmental changes accelerate in unpredictable ways and at unexpected rates. It's after this tipping point when humankind around the world is entering a state of panic, leading to physical deformation and degeneration, to collective synaptic failures and stress disorders. The sound describes the transformation of the human organism in the last phase before extinction.
