about

Keeping up the pressure of last year's 'Diamonds' EP for LV, we are now ready to share first warning signs of <<Wum>> Yao Bobby & Simon Grab's debut full-length album, coming in 2021.

The pair have worked hard to keep up the momentum despite the lockdown making it difficult to travel between their home countries Togo and Switzerland - luckily dedication and timing made it possible for them to find time to record together and bounce across borders.

'Black Revolution' showcases a powerful continuation from Yao Bobby's politically charged, panafrica-promoting, anti-establishment, anti-colonial, black power lyrics.Yao's vocal energy is fuelled by Simon Grab's notorious 'no-input' production style.

Backing up Yao & Simon's sentiment with a rhythmic and melodic twist of the sonics in his very-own style, we are proud to offer a re-work of 'Black Revolution' by afro-futurist mad man Ibaaku, representing Dakar, Senegal.

It's a great feeling to connect musicians and listeners from all over the world with this project, and we hope you will spread the word by playing the music LOUD, wherever possible.

The vocal version and the Ibaaku remix are about to get pressed up on 7" vinyl for all wax-heads who want to spin it.
Feel free to put in a pre-order if you're feeling the vibes.
